Posted: Sun May 07, 2006 9:05 pm Post subject: Game freezes in PAL and is in black and white in NTSC
Hi all. Recently made a back-up of Dino Crisis 3. Shortly after starting the game it would freeze and after doing some searching around on the forum I found a possible solution would be to use the Enigma video switcher & set the console to NTSC. This solved the freezing problem but now the pictures a kind of fuzzy black and white and not much help.
Was wondering if it could be a compatability prob as I've been messing about with the console quite a bit lately so it could be something I've done.
Heres what details I can find so was wondering if all looks ok, meaning is it all compatable.

if your tv is showing the XBOX in Black & White while you are in NTSC MODE and it works just fine using PAL MODE then your TV is NOT compatible.
Try using another tv that supports NTSC/PAL.. Most newer tv's do..
thats all the problem is i think.
As long as its full colour and working fine in PAL then your tv does NOT support NTSC.
