Look I'm really sorry in advance, as I'm sure there's gonna be many tutorials outhere explaining Where I'm going wrong but as hard as I try I just cant crack this.
The problem is basically Dashboards & HDD related. Let me explain.
Since buying the box a few months ago I've managed to install AID 3.01 + Add onns and opyed 4 XMBC as my dash. Last week I bought an 80Gb Maxtor HDD with the hope of installing it and playing most games from the HDD...
I knew from when I'd installed the AID that I hadn't exactly got things sorted in my head as to what was required but this is verging on ridiculous. I havent even got to opening up the console yet as I cant seem to install the Apps, skins etc as I believe they should be installed.
Prob whats best is I (try) & give you some info on the console and the steps I'm takin, and then hopefully you can tell where I'm going wrong.
As said at the start Ive REALLY tried with this so if i've make jaw dropping noob mistakes go easy eh!

The way I've been trying to set things up Is. Let the AID boot disk load then back up MS dash to G drive. After that I've prepared E drive and then installed evo x to C. Ive then installed the apps etc to F and finally installed ms dash to C.
Gotta say this is 1 of many variations I've tried but as yet have had no luck. When I check things in file manager it seems the Add onns aint been transfered either.
Could go on all day and as you can seem I'm in a right mess. Things like this really frustrate me as I'm not a clown and can generally grasp the concept of something quite quiclky. So I'm left thinking I might be making things worse.

You don't need to backup the M$ dash. Just run AID and install your apps to E and your dash to C. You wold only need F & G if your HDD is over 137gb in which case you would need a bios with the LBA48 patch. _________________
