I have xbox verision 1.3 and I ordered DuoX2 cromwell bios modchip from Divineo (It is
taking several weeks to reach vio registered airmail, so please consider alternate
shipping method for your purchase). Now before the chip arrives, I would like to try softmod first.
I have the following.
1. xbox v1.3,
2. xbox to usb female connector,
3. splinter cell game disk,
4. splinter cell explot, AID 3.0 with 3.1 update in a CD
I have no plans for going to xbox live, I am from India and I dont know whether this service is available in india
Now I have the following questions:
1.Is softmod really worth trying or should i wait for the modchip?
2.How to copy the exploits to usb stick? is there any special procedure? or it is just copy the required exploits?
I have no access to some other modded xbox, in fact I never heard anyone having an xbox in our place
How to copy the files to USB memory stick? What are the files required?
3.USB xbox female connector -> can i connect multiple usb devices, like mouse,keyboard and usb memory stick?
4.Is it possible to recover the xbox, if something goes wrong on softmodding.
I think I have read enough in mailing lists / searched the web, still I coulnt get
the answers and I am confused.
Please give me your suggestions
