Howdy, I have a sweet 400gb hdd in one of my xbox's, and I would like to set this up as a server for myself and some friends to use for file storage. I have a couple of questions about this - first off, how do I make sure that my files are safe, that is knowone else can delete them when they log on. Second, how do I create a session time-out limit and ratios? How do I create an address that's not a network IP? (ie ftp://xbox:xbox@sonik.gti.86/ imstead of 192.168.x.xxx)

Basically, how do I let others upload/download without compromising the files I have.

Some basic server questions here, I guess I just need a little tutorial to make sure I set it up right. THANKS!

well for the adress you can forward the ports on the router and get a free domain from www.co.nr, but as far as setting up a ftp servr i would use linux, i am not totaly sure how, i have only setup a gateway, so i am not sure what it will take, maybe someone else will now what to do,
