Just in case I would ever need it, what files should I transfer from my SID 4.5 soft modded box to my PC. With my limited knowledge, I currently considering the following 2 backup options
1. Transfer E:\UDATA and E:\TDATA to my PC
or
2. Transfer all C:\ and E:\ drives to my PC
Option 2 may be overkilled, but I might miss something if I go with option 1. Please advice. Thanks very much in advance.

The most important file to backup to your pc is your eeprom.It's located at E:UDATA/21585554/00000000000/backup.You can transfer your C and E drives if you want,that way you'll have a backup of the ms dash if you ever need it.

you only need your E folder as C on sid 4.0 and 4.5 is fake . E folder covers everything , eeprom.bin is most imprtantly. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Thanks very much guys. I will backup my E:\, and double backup my eeprom .bin from E:UDATA/21585554/00000000000/backup then.

Tell me if it works! I also want to upgrade my HDD and i have SID4.5 installed.
I read that i have to clone my drive for sid4.5 to work. But it's much easier to only backup the E drive and copy it back to the new HDD.

i assure you that you can upgrade a hd even if you have sid 4.0 or 4.5
only diffrense with these newer mods : is just that nknave put on E/eeprom <<< on that path is fake ... other then that everything is same... towards upgrading hd... you just need a dash to load and your eeprom.bin and your good. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

Like everyone is saying: back up that eeprom.bin!
Make like 2 or 3 backups of it. Maybe burn a copy to a cd and keep it at your grandma's house, just in case
I speak as a stupid n00b who royally screwed up his softmodded Xbox, but was able to get it back thanks to having my eeprom backed up.
