it rarely does, but not all platinum versions work, I guess you could say needle in a haystack. _________________

yea some platinum hits work some dont... i'd say 1 of 6 do .... heres an image i know its 007 but an example ..... and i would get original not platinum edition...

Actually from my experience, all Splinter Cell copies work, only non platinum certain non-platinum mechassault work, and a few of the platinum 007 works. As far as I've used the exploits splinter cell always works for me. _________________

I don't know if it will help but these aren't too hard to find in my area. There is a Gamestop here that always has one if not all three of the games used for only $5.99 a piece. Originals not platinums. I've got all three just incase. _________________

thank you guys for ur answers, i will be purchasing the original for splinter cell, 007 auf or mechassault. If I can't get my hands on the original copy then i'll have to try the Platinum Hits.

If you can't find the original versions, only try the platinum edition of splinter cell _________________

I can confirm the Classics version works! I've used it myself with SID4.5 Nknave.
EDIT: SID3.1 works too!

BUT, with the classic content installed, i couldnt load the linux thing...
unisntalled this, and all was peachy

Platnium hits Splinter Cell worked for me
Had to take off the downloaded levels thou.
