Right after I ran the installer it went black on the screen and the LED went Orange, its sitting like that right now, quick help please..

Update:
I thought this info might be helpful, my dash is 5960.
Also, I tried it with the SC loader with my Splinter Cell game and it did the exact same thing.

Don't know whats happened there. Can you still load up the splinter cell game? If so try installing the softmod again. The orange led suggests that the mod is active but I've never had a black screen.

Its immediately after you select Campaine and click "Run Linux". It may not be a black screen, but just nothing shows up on the screen. And the LED in Orange (doesnt blink, just stays orange)

oh ok .... so in othe words u stil have retail ms dash .... as u havnt started to softmod it .....
what i would do is check the game save exploits to see if they are the correct ones... they are always 2 files... linux launcher and sc game save.. and i think theirs a ntsc and pal option.....
if u had other game save exploits wipe them out ....
once u put new game save exploits.. PUT THE GAME power off the xbox and POWER IT ON WITH THE DISC INSIDE!! this is called coldboot.... it prevents any softmod such to be active...

Im pretty sure I used NTSC, I wouldn't have copied PAL. But at first I tried copying both at the same time (for Mechassault with its loader) and got the loader to copy but the xbox said that the Launcher file was corrupted, so I went back to the PC and recopied the launcher to the action replay card after formatting it, and took it to the xbox and it looked fine and gave the option to copy then.
But what I dont understand is why it would do it on both mechassault & Splinter Cell, that dont sound like a problem with the xbox or game. but Im pretty sure its not the pal loader.

??? im kinda confused but did you try what i mentiond??? haveing mutiple exploits causes trouble... wipe out un necerary...

I meant that Im sure its not a PAL loader I put on the xbox.
There was also only one mech loader and it didnt have NTSC or PAL, and someone stated if it doesnt say anything its most likely NTSC. To clear any confusion, I have both SC & mechassault games and tried them both with the same result. And the mechassault is the original game. Im not sure about the SC though.

lol u dont know if ur sc is original game??? well if it runs then its original...
unless this xbox is been moded before.....
ok first choose 1 game... ma or sc i would say ma .... then wipe out any other game save exploits .... and save game progress remove it as well... ( save it if u want to ) and coldboot ur ma and try to re mod it .... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
