can someone please help i have just got a friend of mines xbox modded but a large percentage of my games will not run on it, it is a crystal version any suggestions will be appreciated

What softmod package is it? Are backups the only thing you can't run? CAn you run the original games....

There are three DVDs sold in the xbox units....Thomson, Phillips and Samsung.... there may be another manufacture but Im not sure. Anyhow some of the xbox dvd players will only run in DVD-R, DVD+R and some with CD-R (if the game fits on one) I have the Samsung Drive (two holes in the tray will identify it as Samsung drive) I can only play media burned to DVD-R and CD-R. DVD+R's will not work. So try burning mixing up the dvd media your using.

well it can be the way u burn ur dvds it can be alot of things... so how did u burn those xbox games??? are they readable to any other moded xbox????
and fianly most importantly what did it said on the dvd drive when u guyz put the game on the xbox??? did it say unknown or empty? _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
