Hey all, I am doing a mod on a Halo SE unit with a focus chip inside. I am using the Xenium ICE modchip.
Just so everyone knows, there is an install variation between using the Xenium Ice with a 1.4 and a 1.5 and so far you cannot tell the version difference by looking at the MB!! Yeah, I know...doesn't that blow.
You may be wondering why it's important to know if you have a 1.4 versus a 1.5 or visa versa. Well, the 1.5 requires two extra wires being soldered at the LPC area.
To determine you will need a continuity checker or a mulitmeter that gives ohm readings too.
If you have continuity between the Screw Hole beside the LPC area and Pin number 2 then you have a 1.4 if you do not have any then it's a 1.5
Just thought I'd throw that out there for ya all!

We're talking about xbox versions, not Xenium Ice's...
sorry for the confusion if I wasn't clear enough.
There is two xbox versions that are identical looking, (the 1.4 and 1.5), and the only way to tell is to check for continuity between the areas that I mentioned.
