Hey guys im new here I am getting error 16 which is a dashboard error i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this error im trying to hotswap but it doesnt seem to be working i think it might have to do with my boot disk ..... for some reason my pc which is set o boot cdrom first will not boot the xboxhdm boot cd or the slayers boot cd .... any help is very much appreciated.

I'm guessing you have a softmod... This is easy, pop in your exploit game (Splinter Cell, 007:AUF, or Mechassault), run the save game, and remod. Piece of cake. Just because you have an error on your screen, doesn't mean it won't boot the games. So you'll just pop in the game, turn off the syste, and turn it back on. this is actually a non moded xbox so its a little more complicated .... and for some reason my xboxhdm will not make my computer boot when i plug in the hdd in hotswapping im doing something wrong.

Well I have it all sorted out after printing off a few tutorials from here and xbox scene i have discovered how to fix my xbox error 16 ...... this hotswapping within 5 seconds of the boot it seems works perfectly unplug your dvd and at 5 seconds which is exactly how long it took to start blinking red is when i swapped then i followed the appropriate xboxhdm tutorial
