im running the executer2, is there any way to delete or bypass the error you get when u try to acces xbox live and it says it cant because your xbox has been modified.it was working for a few weeks but i forgot to flip the switch one time and it screwed me.any help pleaseee

Did microsoft boot you from live? If so then you're banned for life. I might try using a different person's info for registration? My recommendation is return your live kit to the store soon. Have you tried xbconnect? It's free and there are no hardware checks, many ppl have it.

Your machine was banned my friend. Don't feel bad, it has happened to a ton of people. Your only options are to replace your EEprom with a known good one. One that has never accessed xbox live. Then you have to get a new gamertag and register your machine again.
Nobody here that I know of sells EEproms. The only other way is to buy another machine for xbox live, or like the previous post you can try to see if XBC will work for you.
Did you have an on off switch so you could turn off/cloak your modchip for xbox live? Just curious to how you ended up getting banned. The info could help someone avoid the same happening to them.
My advice is if you ever get your machine back on xbox live, or you get a new modded machine, always disco your network cable from the xbox unless you are FTP'ing or wanting to login to live. That way, you can't accidently connect.
I also know there are modchips and bios versions that automatically wipe out updated xbox live files and live settings so each time you try to login, the initial try fails and you have to reconfigure your settings and download an upgrade. It only takes a minute to do, so it's not that big of a pain in the ass. So far, that and the Xenium method of booting to MS Dashboard has allowed me to avoid the MS banishment!

i do have the on-off switch but i was trying to connect via ftp and forgot about the internet cable becuase i was trying to download the files i needed at the same time.well i guesss im getting a spare xbox for online play.i had somebody install my chip and softwhare as a favor but hes gone and i dont know what he set the password and log in name as.so when i try to connect to my xbox using an ftp program it says i have the wrong password.i have tried using xbox for both.so my question is there anyway to find out what he set the password to or how to change it thanks

So your mate who put the modchip in your xbox has changed the password has he.. ??!
So you have tried:
user: xbox
pass: xbox
port: 21
I havent heard of any programs that can view your password, sorry .
What you could do:
You could use a AUTO INSTALLER to install/upgrade the dashboard. It would then replace all the passwords and settings.
What you SHOULD do:
1. Boot the XBOX-HQ AUTO INSTALLER in your xbox
2. now its using username: xbox password: xbox
3. ip: 192.168.0.2 subnet 255.255.255.0
4. You can change your pc settings so you can log on via ftp.
5. give your machine a ip address and subnet in the 192.168.0 range..
6. Then you will be able to edit the evox.ini file which holds your password via ftp.. Its located on your xbox here:
c:\evox.ini
xbox-hq would that be the progam by slayer.im a real newbie if you havent figured that out yet.sorry ahead of time for any stupid questions.thanks

Yes, any time you hear the word Autoinstaller that is basically the same thing as Slayers Autoinstaller, except ours (xbox-hq) is much more up to date.
The Slayers Autoinstaller disk was a monumentous thing for a lot of people, especially newbies like you and I!! I have been modding for a short period of time and have learned a ton, but I will consider myself a newbie until the day I die!! There is always something new to learn...
However, I am a level two newbie..HA
Basically, the autoinstallers regardless of who's you use do several things. First, they help you partition/format your HD. They install your dashboard which is a huge help. They also install apps that allow you to backup your games, play movies, mp3's, all kinds of stuff. Some, like ours, can even flash your modchip (as long as your modchip allows flashing via CD).
We also have just made available an Emulator Autoinstaller. Over 20 Emu's on it!! An Emulator is something that lets you play other plaforms games right on your xbox, just in case you weren't sure.
What I like about autoinstallers is they are a lot like the everyday computer software programs that most of us are already used to installing. You just follow the directions and select what you want to install.
Let us know if you have any other questions, don't worry if you feel they are stupid...it's the only way you are going to get the knowledge and help that you need. We do not tolerate anyone flaming people for asking questions. I know if I personally see it, the person responsible will have their post erased and get a warning. After that, they don't deserve to be part of this community if they do it again.
I happened upon a forum yesterday trying to find an answer for one of our members regarding a problem he was having. I saw someone ask a question about backing up games to disk and someone replied to it, but in a way that even I would have been a little lost. When he replied that he didn't quite understand and asked nicely for a little less technical reply, the same person replied with the nastiest answer. I became a member just so I could let him have it and tell him what an ass he was/is.

thanks for all your help.i cant seem to find a download called xbox-hq.i went to downloads and typed it on and i didnt find it what catergory would it be under.also im using flashfxp to try to access my xbox.is there a better program or do i have to maybe change any settings.that friend of a friend said he didnt change the password but thats what the flahfxp is telling me what wrong.thanks again

ok now, i got the xbox-hq up and running and i was doing a bios check to see what i have so i can reflash it and its telling me i have 3921 and theres one more higher then that 3935 i think.does the bigger number mean its newer and better or does it mean it has different options.also how do i know where my xbox dash is loaded and my executer dash is loaded.when i go to flash it, it says reflash 3921 c:.one more question whenyou use config magic what does it do.can i pass the screen that says you may make your xbox unusable if you continue with out it doing anything.what does config magic do.thanks

Config magic can lock and unlock your HD, and in some versions I think reprogram your tsop or eeprom...best not to mess with unless you really know what you are doing. I don't even touch that stuff.
I am confused on your bios versions...3921 is your evox version, 3935 is the newest dash build.
I like the 3935 Dash the best, as I have had both.
I just upgraded my bios from Xecuter2 (cant remember version but it's in my sig) to Xecuter2 4983.67
It really didnt do anything for me as I only have a 120GB HD. The newer bios versions usually are better cuz they have new fix's for larger HD's and other issues. But, if you arent having any problems, no use in reflashing your Modchip bios. One thing I have learned in modding..if it aint broke, DONT FIX IT. You could end up with a bad flash or something and then end up with hours of troubleshooting.
The dash (Evox 3935 build) is nicer cuz I like the menu it's more accurate for me. Before, I couldn't launch my games without launching PxHDD loader, now all my games show in the list...it's sweet. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

well i was only gona flash so i can acces my xbox since i think the password has ben changed but im not sure.do you connect to your xbox through a router if so do i have to do anything to alow the ftp access to my xbox.im not sure if im even connected.my xbox is connected to the internet so that part works i just cant seem to access it.thanks

i have never been on xb live and i tried connecting, and it says that there was an error or something and to try again later. i dont have my chip on or anything but i cant set up xb live. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
