i just unlocked my HD and wiped it clean and installed it fresh using lockhd -a. The problem i was having was because i didnt have my dvd drive on same cable as my hard drive. everytime i tried to unlock it said error time out. put my hard drive as primary master and dvd on secondary master and bingo. i unlocked my HD with the password i chose and this time said screw the floppy drive. locked it from CD using my xbox eeprom and it works fine.
