ok just installed the x-chip (aka chameleon) did the inital x-control setup and i have know idea what to do next was going to use slayers auto installer but havent because xbox to pc ftp wont work to backup hd and on that note where do i get DJB's xbox-hq auto installer? someone please help
im used to the simple old days with the ps1 mod chip, just solider 4 wires and go

well dont sweat coz its not really that much different if you actually have flashed a PS1 Chip before from scratch..
Ok.. You need to download a HACKED BIOS (microsoft ibos).
You are after probably one of the latest EVOX M7, M8 bioses or the latest Xecutor bios.. They are available in our VIP Downloads section..
You then need to FLASH YOUR MODCHIP with this hacked bios
DONT FLASH YOUR MOCHIP WITH THE CROMWELL BIOS.
(this will only allow your modchip too boot LINUX APPLICATIONS not BACKUPS, DASHBOARD ETC)
Normally all chips are shipped with the cromwell as it is a legal bios..
But once you get your modchip and install it you need to FLASH THE MODCHIP BIOS with a HACKED BIOS..
Anyway, just hoping you understand that..
Once you have your new modchip flashed you just need to burn all the .iso (xbox isos) to CDRW/DVD-r that your xbox likes and thats about it..
