Ok i installed the soft mod and evo x n so on and then i decided to restore ms dash only to find that i hadnt backed it up first and now i have no ms dash no evo x. it wont let me boot splintercell or any other game so i cant ftp the xbox or even play games! i tried to install the xbox harddrive on my pc and it wouldnt partition. i am all out of ideas can anybody help me

your not goign to be able to access the hd at all via the pc with a cold boot for the fact it is locked w/ a pass generated with the eeprom (unless you have a eeprom backup). there are many different methods goign about to solve your problem. the simplest is to follow the hotswap tutorial in the above link. if you need a copy of msdash you can extract it out of AID v2.11 Final...make sure to place it in the xboxhdm>linux>C folder befor makeing the .iso though...messed that up my first time ever tryin a hotswap...after you get the msdash restored i suggest using SID v4 and setting it to dual boot retail mode...that way you will still have access to your msdash for whatever reason you need....as well always make sure to back up your files to your pc via ftp befor installing the new softmod....just a smart practice...hope everything works out for you.

dvd decripter is out of buisness.. what is it that u trying 2 do??? burn a iso?? use nero or CLONEDVD2 it is very very stable.. i have it and that is the only program that i burn my stuff 4 my xbox.. iso stuff ...
once u have it just click on the last bottom screen and brose the iso whr its located and select it and the program does the work 4 .... simple right?? even more simple when u try it ... slysoft.com they have it as a trial it isnt free but im sure u can cr ack it easy... _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

ok heres the deal i took out the dvdrom turnt on my xbox and got a error #07 and even when the dvdrom is plugged in its the same error but anyways i carried on with the hotswap did everything correct but to find that it said that the harddrive was not connected to the pc in the linux program even tho i know it was correctly. anyone got any suggestions?

error 07 is hdd timeout, nothing to do with your dvd rom.
that means your hdd is not plugged in properly, shorting on the molex or y splitter, or possible damage to it. _________________ Xbox v1.1

ok Im like dumb to all this but need to fix two xboxes. I screwed up the first and bought a second,then screwed it and bought a third. I would like to fix the other two. The hot swap tut doesnt give enough info. Is the pc and xbox hooked together? Is the xbox hd connected to the PC? I got the erroe message #11 but the cd/rw didn't work in my pc. How can the xboxhdm get the files into the xbox? help please, before I screw up the third one.

pirrup. thanks for the rapid reply. my xboxes have lost their dash boards due to excessive deleting with the aid2. It has a #21 error and I didn't back up anything on the 1st one. the 2nd was backed up but accidently deleted the back up when I formatted the hd trying to get more hd space without buying a hard drive. Tried to partition it to move some memory from the f drive to the e drive, but wasnt able to get anywhere so i formatted it and now it will not work at all. please help. thank you.

pirrup is it possible that 1 of the xbox he mention has #21 can it be recoverable if try to use 1 of the exploitable games?? or burnd aid or somtin ? just saying so i can 2 learn.. as far as the other 1 he try to make bigger hd then i dont have an ideal 4 tht..
