Where do I put it on my xbox? And it hangs up when I do a weather search. I'm usnig the one from the djb installer. _________________ [/b]XBOX v1.? (4 or 5)[/b]:

i recommend upgrading to the newest version or the one before that.
you put the stream files anywhere. i put the in the 'video' directory and made a new dir called 'streams.' then you just select 'my videos,' and locate the files. _________________ XBOX v1.1 - Philips DVD

Same thing was happening to me, I only tried it a few times then just deleted everything. I made a post and forahobby answered it, but I haven't had time to go back in and start reconfiguring everything.
I could see the files, select them, and it would say opening file, connecting, then nothing would end up showing after the connecting box closed.
I have to go back and read his reply again, but I am thinking it had something to do with putting in my ISP info somewhere.
Let me know if you end up with success and what you did to get the stream pack to work properly.

some of the streams did that to me too. they might not be up any more. just keep trying them, delete those that don't work. _________________ XBOX v1.1 - Philips DVD

hey guys,
you need to configure your EVOX.INI (dashboard) to use your ISP DNS servers.. So just do this..
1) Click 'Start Menu' and choose 'Run'
2) Type 'cmd' on XP or 'command' on 95/98
3) Type 'ipconfig /all'
4) Find your DNS Servers
5) Boot your evox dashboard and go to the 'SYSTEM SETTINGS' Screen
6) Set your XBOX DNS for evox to match your pc ISP settings.
7) Choose 'Save & Exit' then reboot your xbox
A good tip to see if you XBOX is connected to the net is to open XBMC and see on the main page if there is a news Scroller Im sure it will work
btw.. Now you have setup dns on your xbox you can use LINKSBOK WEBROWSER as it is configured too..
