I have had a moded xbox for awhile now - 200 gig drive media center dash, set it up just the way I liked it some time ago. The other day my buddy really fucked something up. I used to be really knowledgable about this stuff but its been awile. It seem like he tried to connect to the internet through a game or something. I wasnt networked or anything but I think that the game may have gone in and overwritten a file or something and pointed it back the way it used to be. I can boot up in multiple bioses (eXecuter 2, evoX) but then it just goes to the normal xbox screen. Did the xboxdash.xbe get overwritten or something. Could somebody post a link to some type of resources. I am going to need the files to burn to disk.
I just want my Media Center Back!!!

hi mate,
Sounds like a XBOX LIVE game has updated the dashboard..
Its easy fixed.
Just get ahold of Auto Installer Deluxe (http://www.aid.xbox-hq.com) and burn it to a DVD-R and boot in your xbox.. You can then reinstall any dashboard you like to fix probs in the future.
