OK, I have just updated from SID 2.0 to 4.0 and I am having problems connecting to my network. I can only connect to the network if im in the SID 4.0 install menu. When I boot to evox my IP is just 0.0.0.0. Is this what is meant in Chapter 2 section 5 of the instruction manual about denying all FTP access to prevent people from tampering with exposed files ?? Everything worked fine when i had SID 2.0 installed. The reason I need network access is because I stream movies through XBMC from my computer and watch them on TV. If this is true is my only option to install SID 2.0 or 3.0 ?

Couple thins you can try. Set your IP in the m$dash and set it in the EvoX dash...be sure to save and exit once you have it set. In xbmc set it to use the settings from the m$dash. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

Yeah , ive tried all the settings in the evox dash and XBMC. I cant boot to the MS dash using the SID 4.0 it just reboots back to Evox. Ive also tried uninstalling the softmod and restoring the Original MS dash but when I go into network settings i get an error 21. Any ideas on how to fix this ??
Ive even reinstalled SID 2.0 and all my network settings worked again. But when i reinstalled SID 4.0 they stopped working again.
Update: I just installed SID 3.0 and I have full access to my network, so its just SID 4.0 im having troubles with. _________________ 1.0 - X2 - 5032CL - 200G Maxtor - Evox

No, because i want to use DHCP. Anyways i Started right from scratch again and reinstalled an older version of MSdash, then i let live update it. After that i configured all of my settings in MSdash and rebooted and double checked that they were saved. The i installed SID 4.0 dual boot with MSdash. Now everything seems to be working as it should. The only problem i had with the dual boot option with game save was that it wouldnt boot the MSdash. It seems that the evox.ini file may be looking for the wrong MSdash.xbe because i compared the 2 ini files and they were different. The ini that boots the MSdash with no problems says "xboxdash.xbe" and the one that doesnt work says "msdash.xbe". _________________ 1.0 - X2 - 5032CL - 200G Maxtor - Evox
