I play on xbox live with softmods by setting my ip to DHCP and coldbooting. However, my account is running out and i have a 2 month ready but I can't access the xbox live account creation server. Is there anyway i can create an account on a friends xbox and transfer it over to mines?

If you can access the Micro$haft dashboard then the answer is Yes. Use an Xbox memory card to transfer the account from your friend's box over to yours. You may have to temporarily remove the softmod and return to stock to be able to do this. As when you go into the hacked version of the MS dash, it won't let you go to the live tab. _________________

sjohn has a point. However, if you use the memory card method you might be able to get away with it. I do have a memory card. I can access the memory manager which holds all my gamesaves. but I thought you couldn't copy files to a memory card? Just memory card to hard drive?

I'm must going to completely uninstall the softmods for now. However, i don't know if my friend made a backup of the ms dashboard. Can anyone give me a link of the ms retail files so i can download and ftp to my xbox. Can someone please give me a brief tutorial also so i don't mess up anything.

i suggest u uninstall all softmod then u do ur xbl thing then use newer softmods like sid4 or nknave.. they both r same but knaves has more safty features.. other then taht the directorys are diffrent and that is it.. IF U HAVE TO GET C-MS-DASH then look under pirrups signiture.. download those ftp and give it a shot.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition
