So...Next was to install the Windows Media Center Edition 2005 I bought so went through and choose update (to keep files etc...) all went well no errors or such.
Rebooted and started up. No different to home edition. hmmm....So I went in to system and it says its Microsoft XP Professional version 2002 SP 2? eh? shouldn't that be Media center?
Anywho installed remote pressed Media Center button and nothing. Media center isn't in start menu you like it should be.
Whats going on eh? HEHE (End of ze world) Can you upgrade?
Thanks

When yuo were updating to Media center, did it say Media Center on the screen. I know someone that bought "media center" online only to get XP pro on a disc that said Media center. _________________

The first time I installed media center, during boot up it would say 'Windows XP professional' and under that 'Windows Media Center' and I always had to highlight the Media Center version. I was tired of it so I just formatted at setup and got rid of the pro version. _________________ LED Rings $6 (doesnt include LEDs) LED ring pic
