I have 2 xboxs and i dont want to open my new computer so is there a way i can softmod the unmodded one with my softmodded one? i remeber seeing this somewhere but i cant find it. thnx _________________ My Specs

i can't garantee anything, and i don't know the risks that can cause this. but if you have 1 xbox with modchip, you can do like the pc, via hotswap, only this time, the chipped xbox will read the unlocked hdd from the other xbox.
I've never done this, i've only read about it, and if you don't have a chip, then I guess it's time for getting Action Replay, Memory card, and exploitable game, so far it's the easiest, and no hastles, but if you don't. Enjoy hotswapping. _________________ Xbox v1.1

ok, i dont have modchip, my xbox is softmodded. i thought that if i turned the unmodded box on and hotswapped with my xbox ide cable with aid 2.11 loaded up and install a dashboard it will make it work in my xbox, not his? is this true? _________________ My Specs

not if you don't have a modchip, cause you must plug the ide upon power up. Running AID or anyting from disc, and unpluggin your hdd will freeze your xbox, and can damage your hdd.
Remember that softmods are loaded from HDD, so you cannot just load softmod and expect to unplug hdd when loaded from disc.
