I installed SID 4.0, i backed up the eerom thingy, got my ms dash backed up. Then when i press install soft mod, i choose single boot, and choose install unleashedx as the main dash, it does all the normal stuff and starts to install, i restart the box, get the command to press A to finish installation, i do that, then i get the ms dash with the red light, How do i get it to install unleashedx dash and not the ms dash?

Think your hitting the same problem I did last night with not setting the clock. Thats why its booting to the M$ Dash and not UnleashedX

if you unplug the console for more than 4 hours, you must set your clock on boot up, this is to prevent you from running into error code 16, it's when xbox fails to set your clock. _________________ Xbox v1.1

sorry, SID 4 aims a safety features at the most, if you don't have power plugged in at all times, you'll have to set clock ever boot, going back to SID 3 is fine, as longs as you are concern of the risks, and dont' mess with tools that can damage your xbox.
SID 3 could be good for advanced users.
SID 4 is for all, but most likely for Mentally Hillarious ppl........ROFL *just kiddint*, it's meant for ppl that want more security and dont' want to mess up their softmod, this is perfect if your gonna softmod an xbox single boot and give away to some other person who knows nothing of softmods, and you'll feel alot better knowning that they won't have a problem with it. _________________ Xbox v1.1
