Well here I go for the second time writing this since my connection decided to crap out on me when I submitted. So how did all of you guys pick your user name. Does it have any meaning or did you just randomly pick a name? Well for me when I was younger and played soccer I got my head shaved (yeah yeah laugh it up) for some reason and one day at practice my coach decided to start calling me yoshie. We had this chinese kid on my team named frank and it was kinda funny to see the reactions of people when the coach would be yelling go do this yoshie or go do that and i was the last person they expected him to be talking to...So thats that....this version is a little smaller since I wrote a ton last time but lets here it guys....How did you get your name?....Later. _________________ Xbox V1.6

well, for me, it was around june of last year, and i had gotten my first mod chip in the mail (x2.3b pro, the best that money could buy, at that time) anways, i spent all day installing it, and never using a a soldering iron before in my life, i did a damn good job, everything worked upon boot up first try. then i was plauged with the blue cromwell screen, and back then, i just thought you install the mod chip and your ready to go. anyway, i fiddeled around with it for a while then i decided i would search the internet for some answers...i was listening to adam sandler's album 'stan and judy's kid' and at the time 'the goat' was playing... now again, its 2 am and i was tired and i didnt think i would ever return to this site so i just put in da-goat...
a year later, im an admin and helping people on here left and right (mostly in the VIP chatroom)
well, thats my story...

I picked mine when I was "testing" Dave. I hung around the pirate's den and since dangermouse had a patch....well you know. Of course I also enjoyed watching the cartoon...that British humor.!!! DM and Are You Being Served were my favorite. We even named a cat Slokum...hen a woman always talks so fondly about her pussy, how could you not?!?!?!

I'm a big time hockey fan and my team is the San Jose Sharks. I have all sorts of Sharks stuff and one day while trolling the internet, it asked me for a sign on and I tried Sharktooth as the log in. Sharktooth was taken already and I thought and thought and still wanted Sharktooth, so I changed it to Shark2th and in I went. Never to be denied what I truely want, I've been using it for years now, so it was only natural that I use it here.

Hi all,
I started my original forahobby nick about 5 years ago and have used nothing but since. I originally called myself forahobby because i used to run and own one of Australia's largest satellite websites for hobbyist which i coded.. I named myself forahobby so i wouldnt get in trouble if approached about all this technical stuff i was teaching everyone.. hehe lol
Anyway, i was still into my sat-tv website until but in 2002 i started the first XBOXHQ.. Then all my time went into xbox lol.. I was paying around $1000 AUD per month for hosting and was using around 500gb per month.. lol (thats a dedicated server too.) I had to move to the USA for the cheaper hosting costs and im glad i did otherwise i would have had to shutdown the site.. The server costs are still high now but no where near $1000 AUD per month.. lol.. The HQ site is nearly holding its own.. I rarely have to put in some money which is great.. The site must owe me like $20k... lol

I used to write music on the commodore 64 computer in the early 90's with DJB (funny that).. That when i used the names patto, turtle and pearl.. I did lots of homebrew demo music, some logos (graphics) and other stuff with DJB.. DJB and i formed a music group on c64 named pearl as well. DJB's handle has always been either DJB or MORBID.. lol MORBID..
If you look for a commercial game by the name BOMBSQUAD you will see that DJB and myself wrote the music for that game.. It was a game we and some friends made when we were like 15 and sold to some GERMAN c64 magazine.. lol Its a nice game actually for its time.. Check it out for a laugh in your c64 emu on the XBOX.

Angelos Dracul... Whooo.. the stages. It all started about... holy hell 6 years ago on Yahell... Dark_Angel_of_the_netherrealm... I was into Role Playing in chat. Text based, much like D&D without the dice and a lot more text. Anyway, I was Role playing in this buffy room, and this chick was playing buffy. She started calling me angel... Well, it all went from there.
Angelos is based on Angelus (from Buffy and Angel) the main character's name. Dracul. We all know about Dracula. Well, this wonderful, WONDERFUL woman named Jean Kalogridis started a trilogy "Diaries of the Family Dracul" that I absolutely fell in love with. Dracul is the surname of Dracula's family. These books start 50 years before the book Dracula, and explain SO much more, but take place from the Family Dracul's eyes, not the humans.
So, I took the name Angeus, made it Angelos (oooo, big difference), and Dracul (son of the dragon/devil). Then I made this uber powerful character, vampire, sorcerer, necromancer, master of time... pretty much just a god. But I started writing a book about this character 3 years ago... Just a little side project. Working on for a few hours here and there. Never have finished it, though.
Maybe one of these days I'll finish it and publish it as an e-book, or I'll get a hold of Jeanne Kalogridis and have her publish with me. Who knows. But, since the day I put those two names together, I've used it everywhere. And if anyone has it on a site I try to sign up on... I KILL THEM.... well... I just SPAM the living hell out of them and such Anywho... That's the lame story of Angelos Dracul....

Mine's prety simple, It started about 8 years ago when I got my first dirtbike. It was a Kawasaki KDX 80cc dirtbike. The name first came up with AOL, hehe, and it just stuck with ever since. PS, that bike was bad ass, it revved so high it was amazing and had more power than most 125cc. And the boy because, well, I am a guy, and at that time was a boy.

And I should give a reason why I have so much blue smoke behind me. Well, that stupid ATV was going the wrong way on the track to get somewhere else, and so I pulled off about 10 feet before that jump, so I floored it (anyone who knows about 2-cycle engines knows what I'm talking about) and all that blue smoke came out which is normal for those engines.

Well, my name was given to me by a friend of mine. I started doing magic about 12yrs ago and after about 2yrs I started performing at parties and small fairs. I never had a name for myself so one day my friend said I should use Enigma because I always playes their music while I performed. The 516 came from bartending. I once served 5 of my special drinks (which by the way I named Enigma cause I refuse to tell anyone the liquors I use) to 1 girl and the guy that walked out with her came back the next day to tell me that they went at it for 6hrs . SO, thats how my name came about. Till this day I kick myself in the ass because I was talking to her all night, but my prick boss wouldn't let me leave early.. _________________

well my nick name has many meanings, and i love it, i had this name for about 3 years, i recently switched to krizalid, but i'm still Knave.
Knave=male servant, dishonest person, tricky person, jack (think poker).
Nknave (N-Knave)= Knave of N's, gothic tarot for the Jack of hearts(cups), etc..
Krizalid, Krizalidproject, 70599= everything that has to do with my all time favorite fighter of the king of fighter series.
Krizalid is the Boos in King of Fighters '99 Neo Geo Game (arcade fighting)

My name is two sided, kinda boring, but kinda cool too. The reason for it being both boring and cool is the same reason. It's my real name, therefore boring because I didn't make up a name for myself, cool because it's an odd spelling. I do have a nickname, which most everyone I've never known in real live prefers to call me by instead of my real name (they just can't pronouce it is the main reason) that nickname is Spanky. Doesn't quite win the ladies over all of the time, but hey sometimes they think it's cute
Anyways many many moons ago my parents had me, my dad was named Johnnie aka "Big John" they wanted me to be named after him, but they knew if I was just John or Johnnie Jr. I'd be called Little John for the rest of my life. They happen to find Sjohn in some baby book that was released in the early 80s, and decided that it was very unique, and I've yet to find another person with the same name. Most of the ones I have found on the internet are more like "S. John" and their emails end up being sjohn@whatever.wtf
The nickname Spanky came from my grandfather who started calling me that from literally the day that I was born. As I grew up I did turn out to look similar to the Little Rascals' Spanky so it was kind of like an omen or something. Speaking of omens, my birthday is June 6th and I was officially born at 5:5x AM just shy of the 6am hour, haha. _________________
