Has anyone been able to play these formats? I've read that a few dvd's can be played but haven't found anything on vcd's. I'm trying xbmc as my boot dash. It would be nice to be able to launch everything from there. Right now the only way I can play dvd movies is from the m$ dash (so I can use the remote). I there a way I can change the scripting to have xbmc launch a dvd movie using the m$dash? Confused Confused Confused Confused

I watch BOTH on my Box on a regular basis. Use the newest version of XBMC and it will play them (you need either a remote kit, or the dongle free dvd player if you don't want to use the remote). Simply go into my video's and to the left on the column will be "Play Video" select it and away you go.
