HI, this is knave, i've been around this community for some time, and i like SID so much, i fell in love with it, now the matter that i preffer SID2 over SID3 is something i don't want to discuss.
I've been finding ways to make things more easy, compact, and small.
I like to Introduce what I call "DSSS", and it Stands for "Damn Small Simple Softmod", currently uses stripped down version of SID2 (approved by DJB), all gamesaves exploits are covered around 5 megs!!!, and it's for those who just want's the mod, don't care for xbox live, and of course want's simplicity. I'll post the read me here, so you can read some of it.
If your Interested and have any of the exploitable games, plz PM me about it, it will only take some time, once all is fully tested, i'll post it on the VIP area for download. Very Happy

Simplest, Smallest full distro, UnleashX Softmod Installer.

I, nor the host of these files will not be held resposible for your acts, or damage
cause by these files, i don't say it's going to, but some ppl are just meant to break
stuff, no matter how carefull they are.
This works similar to what the Splinter Cell hack does, but this time all gamesaves
boot to 1 source (Linux_Install_Files).
All these will fit on a single 8 mb memory card, and it's simplified for all newbs
out there.
The files.
Linux_Install_files.zip This contains all essencial files for the softmod to be installed.
007_boot.zip This is the gamesave for 007: Agent Under Fire.
MA_boot.zip This is the gamesave for MechAssault.
SC-NTSC_boot.zip This is the gamesave for NTSC version of Splinter Cell.
SC-PAL_boot.zip This is the gamesave for the PAL version of Splinter Cell.
Intructions:
1.- Copy "Linux_Install_Files.zip" to your memory card or usb device.
2.- Copy all or the boot zip of game that will be use for the exploit.
3.- Always copy "Linux Installer-Install Linux" save from memory card to xbox.
4.- Copy the game of choice for exploit.
Features.
1.- Installs Softmod in 1 option "Install Softmod"
2.- Uninstalls Softmod in 1 option "Uninstall Softmod"
3.- Built-in Custome Evox, to backup EEPROM.
4.- UnleashX config file preconfigured, and removed harmfull options.
5.- Works with all xbox kernels! (all xboxes, no questions asked).
6.- Fastest most reliable Public PBL Loader out there.(not better than nkpatcher)
7.- Bios can be customized with Evtool, by FTPing bios file found in C:\SID (make sure you know what your doing!!!)
8.- Damn easy to use!!!
The downside.
1.- Not so new exploit.
2.- Files in C are visible, and must not be touched.(can break xbox)
3.- No dash option.
About the Installer.
Uses Stripped down version of SID2 (approved by DJB), and uses PBL Me Too Edition.

I was one of the beta testers. Most if not all of the bugs have been worked out and expect it soon. I think you all will like it. It is a clean , simple installer. A very nice package actually.

The installer should be found the VIP seccions shortly after an admin checks the files.
Also like to anounce an nkpatcher version of it might be released, but i still need to understand few things (shadowc stuff).
