OK guys, more newb questions. I have Linksboks(thanks to those who helped with that) and i download something, and it says save as: x:\download.php. Is there any way to save as the file type it actually is? (i.e. WMV,MP3, MPEG) And one more thing guys, can XBMC really stream media from your PC, or is there a catch?

It depends on the server you download from weather or not it will give you the correct file ext.

you can re-name it there and then on the spot or later with a file explorer
you just have to make a note of the filename & extention before you download.

also you can edit the options to allow yourself to download to a folder in E or F, rather than x.
