Well i softmoded my xbox using SID3 Mech version. I Got Evox all on there. But now i cant get onto live. I tried to get on live with the 192 IP then changed the IP to my Xbox's original IP Adress. Still didnt work. I Take of the mod and then i can get onto live...
So what im asking is how can i have my xbox moded so i can have my moded maps to play games sutch as Halo2
Also when installing the Softmod and Evox u know how it gives u the option of where to install the mod. E drive, C drive, Fdrive, Gdrive. Do i do all over them or just one of them... so confused.
ALSO! do i have to use the MS 9505 (dono the numbers) Patch.
Plz help

for a softmod you must uninstall it just make a mod backup and when u want it mooded again just put restored mod backup xD if you keep trying to get on live with the mod installed u may get banned

You CAN NOT play on XBox Live! with a softmod. You will get your XBox banned. If you insist on trying to have a modded xbox AND still use XBox Live!, you must get a hardware mod and switch it off when you want to play on Live! (this prevents you from using games on your hard drive and also helps protect people playing on Live! from those that would try to cheat, etc.)

Can't you make a backup and switch back to the original Dashboard to get on XBL?

The people that mod the Halo 2 maps and then go online are actually installing the modded maps and replacing the originals in the same place. Than they remove the softmod while keeping the original files on their harddrive for the halo 2 maps. Than you can get online with halo 2 modded maps.
It's really simple when you think about it, but kinda hard to explain. But since the new maps are on the harddrive anyways, they basically replace those with different maps but with the same name so M$ can't tell. _________________ XBOX- V1.0
