ok if i move soon i may be able to get dsl and i have some question ok i have SID 2.0 softmod on my xbox the newest modul with hitachi drive and (i made the ms backup) when i softmod my xboxs i take out the tray open menu and the unneeded option from evo's option menu by ftp and i was wondering if i restore it back is there any way i can get banned ? i have a copied version of the orginal halo 2 map pack which i installed and was wondering would that get me banned? i plan to get rid of my softmod off thi xbox for good sence my other xbox is softmodded to and i wanna use this xbox as a orginal so i wont get banned from xbox live i plan to setup xbox live threw this xbox after its been restored and wanna know if they can see thats its been softmodded after i do restore it? and would i have to delete the halo maps? i dont have the offial disk sence i borrwed it froma frnd and made a copy of it

You should be fine, even if you leave the maps on that SOFTMOD box, however, you CAN NOT play any games that you don't have the disk for anyway, without the SOFTMOD or a HARDWARE MOD. So, no, you won't get banned on Live! since you can't even USE those Halo2 Map packs.

jhondra i plan to leave the map pack maps installed and then restore my xbox will the maps still work?

They shouldn't, but I'm not sure how the added Halo2 map packs work, but I know you won't be able to play any games from the HDD, for certain. _________________ Xecutor 3 CE

At this time, I don't think the XBox Live! does much scanning of your HDD. Mostly, just checks eeprom BIOS and dash, but I'm no expert, and there is no guarantee that they won't (or can't) change that...
If you really want to play it safe, restore entire HDD to a pristine install (delete all extra files, game images and non-MS dashboards).

the halo 2 map pack is a disk u use and it installed new maps to ur harddrive then to play them you use the halo 2 disk
