Ok, question, is it possible to change the in game music used in Xbox games with your own music. I mean for games that do not allow custom soundtracks? IF so how? Let me know _________________ V1.1

it can be done with some games but not others. it really depends on how the game is structured... some games have the music encoded into the game files somehow, for those you're just out of luck. alot of games that have real music tracks just stuff the tracks into a folder. just dig thru the file structure looking for a folder full of .wma or .wav files... if you find one just replace them with your tracks. just make sure yours are the same format and have the same filenames. i remember how cool it was playing the old atv quad racing 4 while it played disturbed... _________________ .

In theory, if the game uses WMA files for music (like Forza does), you should be able to replace them as long as you encode the music as 128k, 44.1kHz WMA8 and rename them to match the music files you're replacing. Again, in theory. I don't know, since I haven't seen the need to do it.
On a side note, if you're looking to make your own soundtracks, read this. _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)
