Hi I'm moving over from the DuoX2 mod chip. In the Duo install I didn't need the LFRAME pin and the one next to it on the LPC. Do I need these for the Sunday chip?

Here's the pic/diagram of DuoX2 install on V 1.0;

(Just a side note, I like how straight forward this install instruction is. Good pic speaks a thousand word that even a 10mb guide can't beat.)

Any help would be great. As it is now, I just get the flubber and then a warning that my xbox needs servicing.

Basicly Lframe is emulated by the CPLD so that one may be optional, although I dont see it saving much work in any case. Lrst is another pin next to Lframe and the SST flashron uses this since Sunday chip is a native LPC 3.3v solution. The doux is a parallel solution at 5v on the 3.3v LPC and does not use LRST. Again I don't see this saving any work unless it's a filled LPC hole 1.0. Just like Sunday doesn't need 5v unless you are doing an IR install on a 1.6 (marked B in the diagram you referenced).

So the top LPC hole above Lframe you need but I just solder all pins except the key no matter what install I'm doing anyway and so should you. If you are doing a wire install use 30AWG kynar from radio shack part number 276-508.
