i have softmodded my xbox and would like to add a new hdd to it i have a 80gig Maxtor 6Y080L0. Would i be correct in assuming i just need to make a xboxhdm iso with the eeprom backup from the current softmodded hdd then create a new drive using xboxhdm and unlock it via menu 3 and then just install the hdd into the xbox and then softmod that 1 ?

it needs to be locked not unlocked

yeah my typo ive sorted it now had to make a few isos had problems with the eeprom backup not being picked up so i put the old hdd back in made a new backup then it seemed to work i didnt have to re softmod now i have 80 gig instead of 8
