from what I can tell your trying to use a composit device with the x2vga+ adaptor or you are lookin for advice about the x2vga+. I dont have one of these but according to Xvga.com this device does have a composite output.

Here are its features
VGA Out HD-DSub 15pin
Stereo Audio In(3.5mm)
Digital audio(Toslink)
Composite Video out (this will work on standard tvs with a composite input or scart input using an adaptor)

if you have it you can use the original xbox lead for composite.

I do know of a simple circuit to convers VGA to composite if you have a need for it. then let me know.
