not very long at all actually.. A couple of minutes maybe..
Are you using Auto Installer Deluxe by DJB from XBOXHQ?? Or another Auto Installer??
Personally i would suggest grabbing AID if you dont have it.
Its free via Bit torrent or you can become a VIP MEMBERs and download from the vip areas..
try again but using AIDeluxe 2.11 Final.. You shouldnt have any probs.
I have burned UnleashX to a cd-rw. It loads fine when I put in the xbox but can't seem to get it saved on the xbox so I can take the disk out and do other things. I'm using a version 1.4 with X3 CE. Evolution X was my old dash so when I burned the new dash to the disk I somply changed the old dash name to something else but still can't get the new dash copied correctly. Can someone run through the steps real quick.

the unleashx dashboard you have burned to a cdrw should just have a default.xbe in the root so the xbox can boot it..
Load DVD2XBOX onto your xbox hdd and then load it up.
Once loaded use DVD2XBOX to copy the entire DASHBOARD to your xbox hdd..
Instead of making a new thread i thought i would post this here, i downloaded the new unleashx dash from the usual places, and now im wondering how in the heck i install it.

install it under your E drive, then under a folder called apps. That'll work. You should get AID though that way you can install stuff directly from a disk to your xbox. _________________ Moddingbandit

ok well i got it installed, now how do i make that boot up on startup. Cause on startup it boots me to the screen that allows me to install and backup and whatnot. I want to boot straight to the unleashX 0.37.

well you can either change the .xbe file in unleash to deafult .xbe. Works most of the time. Or you can install xselect and then reboot xbox so that xselect will pop up. Then press up on dpad and do search for dashes. Once that is done, Just change your default dash to unleash and your other dashes to the other open slots. Or just delet them if you nvr want to see them again. _________________ Moddingbandit

yes there is but i think it is just renaming the .xbe to default.xbe but idk 100 percent. Just try xselect until to figure it out. I might search later once I get home from school. _________________ Moddingbandit
