My friend and by friend I mean me attempted to laod a, uh well a iproper softmod onto my xbox causing (according to xbox support line) my hard drive to fail. Now I have put a new hardrive in it makes more noise now but still goes to a error 09 Your Xbox requires service Please cll xbox customer Support""Does anyone know if i can creat a config disk to save my xbox?

What softmod did you try to use??
Softmod Auto Installer??
We need more info mate..
You could possibly get your xbox working again with a new hdd as long as you have a eeprom backup of your xbox info.
give us more info and we will see if we can all help you more.
Thank you for the offer in helping me but I replaced the old hardrive in it and low and behold what ever I did i made it so It is a Error 21, Acording to the error sheet i need to reformat my C-drive and because im like retarded when it coems to fromat disk on a non modded xbox could you guys please help me out to make a format disk just for the c-drive or for all of it but mainly the c-drive thank you

Save yourself a lot of grief and get the auto installer that will assist in formating your drive easily. The only issue I see is that if you have an unmodded xbox, nothing short of a chip would allow you to accomplish what you are doing. Which installer is that like i said i think im retarded when it comes to this business, and how do i do itr because all the turoials have Modded this modded that xbox but mines unodded >.<
But in one of the tutorials it says Error 21 means jsut erros on the disk but will the disk still read if i put it in because it goes to the screen always
