I have a unmodded box and want to play forza sys link with my modded box. My unmod box has XBL update for forza and can't hook up with my mod box without update on both boxes. Anyone have a copy of the XBL dash update I can ftp to my mod box. I looked in usual places but can't seem to find it. Thanks. _________________ Xbox 360 #2

Shy,
You say you have XBLIVE update for that forza game dont you mean you have extra stuff (tracks, cars) for it.. Im sure you should be able to delete or backup the EXTRA stuff from the modded xbox..
Thats why you cant get the games working is because one of your games has all the LIVE CONTENT and the other doesnt.. Its the same with Halo 2 and system link.. The game will connect but you will get a map error.
Welll backup first then delete it.. The updates should be stored in the modded xbox e:\udata or e:\tdata somewhere.. Ill move this topic into the XBOX LIVE forums so other users can help too.

The problem is the update is on the un-modded box. So I can't delete it as I use it for XBL. How would I figure out where the updated info is? Will it be in the forza data files with all the forza stuff or by itself in a XBL file? There arn't any extra maps or cars. I read M$ did the update thing to stop hacks.
