On a calculated average, SlaYer's has got an average of 5 downlaods per day (probably a bit low because of how long ago it was posted). However, the Xbox-Hq installer has 9 per day in the short time it's been online
The SlaYer's link was changed so a portion of the ppl grabbing Slayer's would have grabbed our version, we might even remove the slayer link all together since ours is definately showing more popularity.

hi guys,
I was going to remove it but noticed even though i recommended the xbox-hq auto installer to newbies sometimes they would still use the SLAYERS AUTO INSTALLER because it is much more well know.
So to fix this i edited the SLAYERS AUTO INSTALLER download and explained that now when trying to download SLAYERS (an outdated auto installer) it will now REDIRECT you everytime to the XBOX-HQ AUTO INSTALLER which is based on the original Slayers.!
SO, When people do actually go and look for Slayers again all our advice they will still get the XBOX-HQ AUTOINSTALLER

Yep, point taken mate. I see the point why it's still on there.
Slayer's is well-known (as it should) because it was the only up-to-date english installer at that time, plus a lot of tutorials and forum posts will still talk aobut it.
Our v1.2 has pathed the way for us, v2.0 will be THE ultimate installer. If all works out I might even include the emulator pack aswell, just to cover all bases...

Used your autoinstaller today...AWESOME! Only one issue I am dealing with right now.
When booting with modchip off I am getting Error Code 13 on my way to the MS Dash. I can get there fine with modchip turned on, but need to get there with it off too!
HD is locked as I found the feature on the autoinstaller for that too! Man, it is sweet! Put in a Xenium Ice and 250GB HD! All the apps installed flawlessly! I have to run that autoinstaller on my machine too.
If I run it on mine and update EvoX and some apps will I lose my game backups? I am thinking not but I just wanted to be sure.
I used the autoinstaller to install the MS Dash too. Anyway, any help on the error code 13 would be appreciated. I never used an autoinstaller, but I am thinking that I may have to rename the MS Dash to something else, is this correct.

OK...
The error code 13 I usually found is from not locking the HDD properly, or there is a problem with the MS dash installation. This is the steps I take when installing and I get it flawless.
1) Make sure drive is unlocked by Unlocking the HDD first
2) Partition / Format
3) Install MS Dash
4) Install Evox Dash and other apps
5) Lock the HDD
6) Run the 5969 update if desired
THe only way you'd lose your gamesaves is if you format E drive. Evox can be easily updated by throwing the newer version on top of the other one.

So I am not worried about wiping anything at this point.
I am going to wipe the HD clean and start over with autoinstaller.
I hope it works, fingers crossed, prayers said, threw salt over my shoulder, rubbing a rabbits foot...calling out all superstitions!!

I may have to reset clock again.
Okay, launched dash via EvoX changed the clock settings. Rebooted and still getting error 13.

What xbox version are you modding.. If it is a v1.5 or v1.6 you will have to install the latest XBOX DASHBOARD because the v1.5 and v1.6 dont work when you try to run older M$ Dashboards..
It could be locked and has been via Slayers, and Config Magic. When I look at my evox settings it says Lock Enabled.
I'm just baffled. I am wondering if I can just transfer the MS Dash files from the retail drive to the already formatted larger drive.
I sent a VIP ticket, so if you come up with any ideas you can just send me something from there.
