Ok, I have been using XBC for a few days now and I experience heaps of lag.
I have everything turned off that would be running in the background of my PC and I forwarded the ports in my Linksys Router. I am conected by Cat5, not Wireless and I still get 'rubberbanded'. What gives and is there some more advice anyone has for eliminating the lag.
More info: I am using Cable internet with 5Mbs download and 768Kbs upload. I have pretty fast PC with a Gig of Ram and I'm only running XBC, no firewall, chat server, etc. _________________ "Modding the world, one xbox at a time"

only thing you can do is join a server located as close as possible to your location

I normally have less lag when using XLink Kai vs XBC. Just a tip. _________________

I think I'm gonna try out xlink kai, but not modded boxes can't join me can they?

in xboxconnect there is also a chat thing you should disconnect. xlink kai is better because the people arent noobish and dont lag it up. the lag comes from everyone. someone might be downloadin a movie while tryin to play and lag u up _________________ XBOX

Modded xboxes can play on kai.
