Hi everyone
Doing my second xenium ice solderless install, this time to my brothers xbox, a v1.0
Didnt have too many problems aligning mine, and tried his.
when it is fitted and booted up the front light is flashing orange, and the chip stays red.
i looked this up and it states something about solder splash or damaged track or possibly an overheating problem.
i removed the chip and the box boots up fine.
When installing the solderless adaptor, I did have a little slip of the screwdriver, but the track did not appear damaged.
However, I didnt think that the xbox would work at all if i had damaged a track.
Very confused, but will keep trying with alignment of chip, although it looks ok.
Once again, any help greatly appreciated

is the switch set in recovery mode? i dont have a xenium so i can't help out too much.

I didn't even see a switch on it until you nemtioned it. I flipped the switch, and it lit up gren when I installed it.
I have not put the whole lot back together yet, but I will update when I do.

Hi just a quick line to say that thanks to da-goat, my xbox is back up and running modded.
Just to think a small switch underneath the chip, that I hadn't changed caused me several hours of messing around with chip alignment.
Oh well, you live and learn
