Ok guys- i got a prob here that might keep me away from the site for a couple of days. Today i was in my backyard with my labtop writeing, i also did a few updates to the HQ (fourm, Vip tickets, news article) - yeah- i love wireless G, but anywho- i decided i would come inside and like a jack ass i dropped my labtop- the screen is half cracked now- so im writeing this to you guys with a secondary moninter attached to it- i just got off the phone with IBM and they said my insurance - thank god- covers such damage to it (yeah i spent 1,500 on a god dam n thinkpad- i should have put in $500 more for an alienware (for school). Not only was the screen broken but the Ethernet jack in the back is also busted. there sending me a box which i have to send my labtop in tomarrow( they said it would be here by tomarrow- fast or WHAT!)
and im shipping off my system.
Now for my internet- i have another computer here at home, i have g5 Power PC, the only prob is my internet www.dybb.com dosent support OS X- so im screwed- the $7000 systemn cant get me online. So sorry guys but im going to be gone for a bit- Good news is though that im getting a new ISP since my contract for these guys is up- im switching over to cable one- which is also a good thing beacuse i can now get online with my G5-
its going to be SWEET!!!

I guess the laptop isn't the only thing broken. There's no picture.

i got my computer (The OS X) Running online- thank god!
you dont even need to install the softwear they say is required for the service- its just outlook express...dumbass- i just set my IP and all and im good.
I still have the pics of my labtop on my digi cam Shark (For some real proof) im loking for drivers for a Mac OS X G5, if anyone can help me locate some for this OS, for a Mustek MDC 4000 (the 4.1 Megapixel ver.- not the 2.1)
I would be greatful.
But otherwise i'll conutinue looking!! Hey acid, i bought that video capture card (external) I dident even need one since i have one on my mac, but like i said i dont use that much for anything but Dev.- my labtop is for everything else- Help me out guys! thanks

THANK YOU!!! Im looking at the drivers right now- and am currently checking them out- i dont know why, but i sat here for about a day- looking for drivers, and it never hit me to go to the Mustek website- agian, another feat for my stupidity!!!
guys give me a few to get the driver downladed- installed- and pics trans. I'll show you guys-
i still have my labtop- i dident have a chance to ship it out yesterday- and today EVEYRTHING is closed (sunday) so im ging to have to wait.

and 1 of the back of my labtop- just beacuse i think its cool. The hackinng permit sticker on it- i had ALOT of people on Campus beliving it was real- even my C++ prof, who isnt that bright of a guy anyway, lol.

Damage done to the Ethernet and 56k- you cant really see it beacuse of the light reflection- it caused the lens to saturate from the amount of light displaced-

yeah- actully i dident hurt myself at all- i would have rather fell and broke my leg or something than the screen to my system. I am sad -_-
Oh well- nothing wrong with a new screen, eh? also i payed them a few more $$ to put more RAM in the sucker (i had 258 in it, now im getting 512 more!)
