Hi All

Ok where do I go from here.
So do I have 2 dashboards on the same C: boot partion? Confused
Here's what I did

SOFTMOD SECTION
Installed ntpatcher+ms dash - boot ms dashboard
SOFTMOD SECTION
Install Dashboards - Install C: Avalaunch

When I boot I get the original MS Dashboard so is this booting E: my backup
I only have an option to boot to Avalaunch if I reinsert the aid2 disc and goto bootdashboards-boot c:
or I can boot dashboards-boot msdash(softmod)
or boot dashboards-ms dash original
I think I installed without door open option.

So I'm not sure how this whole thing works as I expected to be able to cold boot to a hole new Avalaunch dashboard, re-insert the aid2 disc when I need to add extra apps, emulators or re-install original ms dash.
It appears that I am booting to my backup original ms dash e: and I only have the option to change if I re-insert the aid2 disc and boot c: avalaunch or msdash(softmod)

Should I re-install the backup start again and install Softmod Section-Dashboards-C:Evox and then maybe install Avalaunch later.

One good thing is it's still alive: Yeah - Kids may still talk to me!!!!

It sounds like it's the patched m$dash that's booting. I would re-install the softmod, install the avalaunch in E:, patch the m$dash. That way you have your softmod stuff on E: and you can restore your retail dash to go on live without loosing all that you've done with the softmod.

Not to sure if it's the patched msdash as there are two ms dashboards and the one that boots appears to be no differant than what i originally had.

So I just restore backup msdashboard and start again?

The patched dash looks no different. But, yes just re-do everything and you should be fine.

I think I know where I went wrong.

Instead of Sofmod section- install nkpatcher + ms dash- boot ms dash

Should it have been Softmod section - install nkpatcher+ms dash - boot c:
evoxdash.xbe then softmod section -install dashboards- install c:drive dashboard. (take my pick)

I would like to install dashboard to c: so it's not so confusing for the kids.

Not so sure that I like the Avalaunch dashboard after a little play, is there a similar looking dashboard to the ms dashboard.

Do I need to back up the ms dash again before I attempt to restore the softmod or does that now remain on e:

Thanks
