Hello, my database is getting killed by all of the scores, is their a way to only have it save the hiscores on the server that are top 50?

Hi, Im sure i could add a script which limits how many hiscores are kept..
But why.. My server gets alot more traffic then most im sure and i dont have any issues..
Just let me know your ideas and how its all suppose to work.
anyway, thanks for the info and sorry for any troubles you are having.. This is the first time anyone has mentioned this to me..
The original POSTNUKE pnFlashGames doesnt limit the amount of hiscores either...

for some reason, i dont know why. My database limits the amount of rows in a one part of a database. Now, after a while of people playing, it is full, so it stopped adding the new scores. So if it only saved the top 50 of each game, that would keep the number down.

ok mate.. No probs but that is a strange problem.
Maybe you should contact your host about the limits.. Thats a bit ridiculouse..
Anyway, ill see what i can think up but i would say i will need to rewrite the entire hiscore injection script to add these features your talking about.

thanks for making the code. I use yahoo, they are good for starting out. Now I relize what assholes they are, but it is too late to switch.
