I'm about to try softmodding my xbox and interested to know if the
astone usb memory sticks are compatible with the xbox

I did find one list but astone didn't even have a mention in the usable or unusable list

Do you already have the stick? Just plug it in. If xbox recognizes it, will try to format it. Once its formated, it will be ready for Action Repaly.

If you've got an XBOX-to-USB adapter (cheap online or splice and make your own), try it. What's the worst that can happen, it won't work and you'll have a memory stick to use for anything other than the xbox? _________________ XBOX V 1.0 (softmod)

I got the memory stick and it works so thats good
now just gotta transfer the save game files across

This is close to my question but I need further education on this statement.
So here I am with this badass thumbdrive and I have an adaper plugged in to the controller port that converts it to USB. (THANKS XENIUM!!)
The xbox fomats the usb drive. But if put in my pc, it formats the drive again. Installed the gamesaves and so on following the tutorial nknave included in his Softmod Installer Deluxe 4. Put usb drive on Xbox, it formats the dang drive again. I'm homeworking here so bear with me, what step am I missing in getting the game saves from the computer over to the Xbox. Try tricking the xbox by putting the gamesave on a xbox that wont format the memory card then takin a unmodified memory card and copy the exploits on to that one. _________________

I used a post from xbox-scene forums to help me setup a usb jumpdrive as a actionreplay memory card.. Can I post a link to it here?
In the same post it says ...

Perhaps it would be best for me to bust out the $30 or so to simply get an Action Replay. I've never attempted a softmod nor did I think I'd have to tackle a V1.6. (shrug)
