I am assuming that you have downloaded a game that was ripped by Project X. I am also assuming you have a XBOX with a modchip. Do you have Project X HDD Loader? If so, you can just FTP the folder into the proper folder and play.
The only other solution that I can think of is to create an ISO, burn it, and play it via disk. Up to you which way you go. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Hi,
basically Project-X release full versions of each game with nothing missing. For example you could find this old game.
Shrek
px-shrek.rar or px-shrek.001
1. You would download winrar from http://www.winrar.com and then unzip/unrar (decompress) the file to your pc..
2. You should now have a XISO file something called eg. px-shrek.iso
3. You can extract the XISO to files on your PC HARD DRIVE by downloading a XISO Creator/Extractor and clicking on the EXTRACT OPTION.
4. Once you have it extracted you can then FTP it directly onto your XBOX HDD.. I would install it here: e:/games/
5. Reboot your xbox and EVOX DASHBOARD should automatically detect the new game on your your harddrive..

What if someone were to just pull a Px Folder off of their xbox HD, zip it and upload it for share purposes.
I looked at my games folder and all my game folders are named:
PxGame0
PxGame1
etc...
When I open one of the game folders, there are a bunch of .xbe files and other folders with media info (video folder, score folder, sound folder, etc..)
There are no .iso files whatsoever. Shouldn't one be able to just add this folder to the PxHDD/Game/ folder. Of course if the game PxGame0 already existed, would they be able to rename it to something else?
I was assuming that people would do just that. Is it a standard rule of thumb to create an .iso before sharing a game? Thanks for the info! _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

Thats a great question realmccloy, and I wish I new the answer myself. I would asume yes that you could just do that. As people transfer games from one xbox to another it is doing the same process minus the zip part. But I dont know for sure, be good to find out, I'll take a look around and see if I can find anything out. _________________ XBOX v1.0:

Hi guys,
Ok here we go on a typing adventure.. It should only take me 3 minutes since i type 76wpm (fully tested).
When booting your xbox to the EVOX Dashboard it reads the evox.ini (settings) file from your xbox harddrive.. This file is normally located here:
XBOX HDD
c:\evox.ini
When your xbox starts it reads the values of evox.ini..
Some of these values set where to automatically ADD GAMES to the menu and other cool stuff.
Heres a sample from evox.ini that shows when i add a folder, any folder, to f:\games\ it will show up in my GAMES MENU!
sample from evox.ini:
Quote:
Line "- Games on the Hard Drive -",2
AutoAddItem "E:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "E:\HDDLoader\"
AutoAddItem "f:\GAMES\"
AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\"
SortAll
So if i put a folder into any of these and it contains a bootable.xbe (default.xbe) it will read the default.xbe and display the GAMENAME from it.
Hope this isnt getting too confusing..
SO to get back to basics.. You can copy any folder to any other xbox running evox and configure it to automatically add things to your main menu.
