I have 2 or 3 games that i have made iso's to back them up and when I go to burn them to a dvd disk it says improper media and ask for a cdr, I put in a cdr and says too big for disk put in something with more space. Any ideas on how to back these up? Thanks.

I browsed are Burning game ISO section of the forum:
to see if I could find any information to help you. I am assuming that you are using Nero? You may want to visit that link and take another look at all the posts to see if something rings a bell that you may or may not be doing. What you have to understand is, a CDR only holds about 700MB of data. Most games are around 2+GIG! It's strange that your program is asking for a CDR. That sounds as if it's a setting, or the program isn't even recognizing that you have the capability of burning DVD Media. DJB, asmunch, and forahobby have much more ISO and burning skills than I. I have yet to burn a game to disk. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter

e.g.
1. What version of nero are you using.
2. What DVD Burner are you using (model)
3. What XISO Creation software are you using.

hi mate,
it could just be the version of Nero your using.. If you already have nero installed and working go and download the latest version from http://www.nero.com
Install it over the top without un-installing your old version..You should then have the latest version fully unlocked!
I would try using another XISO creator.. THere are plenty to choose from in the download section.. Another tip: Read a tutorial in our tutorials section called 'BURN A XISO readble in a PC DVDROM'.. Then try making a XISO with Prassi Primo DVD (Trial Version).
