Since I can't seem to use MP3 files for the in-game soundtracks (SegaGT2002, PGR, etc.), I'd like to create WMA files since that's the XBOX- native audio format. The problem is that I don't know how to make WMA's that the XBOX will recognize. Does anyone here know a technique that'll work for making WMA files that the XBOX will recognize without acquiring a copy of XBOX Music Maker?
Music Maker is hard to find around here these days, and though I do have the Music Maker PC tool from Microsoft that can create the WMA's, the XBOX won't recognize them when I upload them. I'm guessing it's a signature issue or something; all I know is that it's something that I can't seem to get around whatsoever.
If this is the inappropriate forum for this question, please forward me to the appropriate forum so I can post there; and as always any information or tutorials on the subject would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I tried the app, but it never works for me. Maybe it's my operating system's fault, so I'll have to check that out. What OS do you use, so that I have a base of comparison?
I myself use Win2kPro w/SP4 and WinXPPro x64 Edition on a dual-boot config. I haven't yet tried running it in 2k yet, and I'll update here if it works for anyone interested in this thread.
In the interim, does anyone know if I can do this by hand? If I'm reading the information from the VXCR website correctly, it's just a matter of importing the WMA files then adding them to the DB file so the XBOX recognizes them, which explains why my previous attempts have failed. Since that could be the case, it would just be a matter of entering the data into the DB file, not any kind of digital signature by the XBOX to certify them for playback (in chich case, I'm completely surprised given the nature of what we're talking about here).
If I'm not mistaken, the MS Soundtrack directory is "E:\TDATA\fffe0000\music" and its' database reference file is "E:\TDATA\fffe0000\music\ST.DB", but I'm not sure on how to properly enter the data into the DB file so that the XBOX recognizes it. Any help on this level would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
