i need some help with my dvd drive i am going to try to make it where it could read any media but i have no clue how to even use a ohm meter please help and thanx

Crumbs..

Can you not buy phillips cd`s were you
are?

Out of my Samsung, Thompson and Phillips dvd drives
in my cased up beast, I use the Phillips the most.

I can always be sure that i can buy phillips
media and be able to use them.

uhhhh ok but how do i get my dvd drive to where it is 500 ohms so it could read all media? and how do i even use the ohm meter do i have to test it while the drive is moving or what!!!
