I installed a softmod to my Xbox and my mom got mad and told my to delete it I told her that I did not care,so she took matters into her own hands and somehow deleted my soft mod all my backups,my M$ dash,and all my files. now all I can do is play games and save games. No Xbox Live,NO DASHBOARD, and no softmods.

Damn, my mom used to get angry at me for many more things than a modded xbox.
I screwed up 2 new computers each time we got them. Had to reformat and everything.
(I am not a softmodder by any means, but read on it for a while, and watched these forums.)
At this point, if there is no more bios, you can't boot any unsigned .xbe's (xbox executables). So, you will need to do a method Pirrup came up with, is a hotswap. The hotswap will allow you to add the necessary files back.
I normally suggest a modchip but the costs and risks are about the same.
I will try to find the link and repost, but get friendly with the site in the mean time. We will be your defintie resource.

Did your mom pay for the Xbox?
If so, then you have no right to be mad cuz technically, it's not yours...lol. Before you modded it you should have explained to her what you were doing and got permission..

ok with a softmod if you can play games you can remod as long as you have the save game exploit on the hdd if not you shud of made a copy of your epromm then you can just reformat if you dont have ether of thos you need a chip a word to the wise back up every thing wether you think you need to or not
