Forgive me if ive already mentioned this to you mate but pirrup has written a heap of softmod tutorials which im sure will help you in you conquest.. heheh lol
anyway, im no softmod expert but im slowly getting the idea.. I still have to do my first softmod HDD upgrade too so im sorry but i have no other advice for you at the moment.
