Hi all
First post and would like to say Hi.
Problem I have is that I made a mess of a 'hotswap' and now I have bought myself a Xenium ice modvhip in the hope of backtracking and being able to recover my v1.0 xbox.
I finally managed to load a bios to the modchip using my flash drive, but when I fire up the system and load either the retail kernel or the flashed bios, it gives me the Service screen and a code error 09.
I am not sure what if anything is on my hard drive, which is the original, and in Disk tools on the Xenium, it gives me the oprion to ' LOCK HARD DRIVE', but when I clidk on this it says cannot lock hard drive.
Hopefully i haven't irreparably damaged my box, and am looking for some help please.
Sorry for the long winded post, and hopefully you all can get me past this.
Thanks

Hi guys
Just a quick note to say that you were all right about my problem.
A new Maxtor 160gb and a bit of fine tuning and I was away.
Thanks for the advice
