i cant FTP movies or videos in avi or wmv format...do i have to edit it in a certain way or what can i do to transfer movies?

Is the FTP not connecting? Is the file saying it won't ftp over (in use)? Is the means in which you are attempting to play said files not finding them? What error message(s) are you getting? Your other post on the same topic in a different forum says "says that the file isn't specfic enough or that it the system can't read it". ok..this is what Cxbox tools is saying when i try to FTP the movie which is avi format..."Cannot open file....the system cannot find the file specified"

use something like FlashFTP or SmartFTP on your PC. i have FTPed dozens of AVI's no problem

k ..i downloaded smart FTP ....how do i use it.....where do i put the xboxs IP and stuff!!!!!!

you type the xbox's ip in that box jsut to the right of address and then put xbox for both username and password. port 21
