Posted: Wed Mar 02, 2005 2:21 am Post subject: Having problems with at least 3 different Star Wars games
I have made all of my Star Wars copies via games rented from Blockbuster.Here is the problems I am having....The games will either play to a point and lock up or when I try to game save the game will then lockup and the save is corrupt and wont work on a restart.I am having this problem on both Jedi Academy games and the Kotor 1.I havent had any problem with Battlefront and I havent tried Kotor 2.I also have Clone Wars and a few other Star Wars games I havent tried yet.Is there any kind of copy protection on some of the Star Wars games?I have downloaded and copied a hell of alot of games and this is the first I have run into this sort of problem.I appreciate any help or feedback

Hi, i ve copied KOTOR II on my HDD and it freezes at one point in the game (while supposed to save after a video scene). I m having this problem only when i play it from the HDD. Is there a patch for tihs.
I suppose all star war games have the same problem.

These people should know how to fix the other star wars games.

i think i read that every star wars game has copy protection, but unfortanetly we don't have any patches for those games here that i seen. hopefully someone will chime in with a site that has them.

Hi guys,
its a shame we dont have more fix files..
We have plenty of space on the VIP SErver and a little bit of space on the main site for some..
We also have DJB's great .iso updater too which could be used to inject the new patched files..
anyone interested in doing this.. I woulud but i already do too much.. hehe lol

yes there is definitely copy protection on star wars games .what happens is you are able to play to the end of the first level then your system will lock up(on a burned game).Every one of them has this protection to date with the exception of Battlefront and Republic Commando.I have tried them all except Revenge of the Sith and they all lock up.Battlefront and Republic Commando play fine.Ive been using xbox sky lately and have yet to see patches that work .Most of these games I havent even seen patches for.I will keep looking myself and inform the members here if I find anything promising.I appreciate it if others do the same

btw i think its only on games off the hard drive that don't work and NOT on burned games. not sure if theirs go both ways or not but i had one that played from a disk but not from the hdd

maybe you had one you got off hte net that was cracked or patched because i couldnt get them to work past the first level off the cd that i burned from the originals.as i stated ealier i never had problems with anything but star wars out of like 300 burned games so i know it isnt just me
